Nothing! Every team member is a volunteer. The sheriff’s office members are paid members of the county.
It varies every year but average is about 100.
24/7. We have flexibility to respond when we can, but we do have to maintain a minimum of 30% of callouts every 6 months. This minimum requirement is 40% during your first year as a support member.
Team members are kept right around 60.
Utah County SAR responds to anything off the pavement and is sometimes asked to assist for other emergency situations.
